You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use our services. Our services, platforms, and websites are strictly not oriented to, or intended for, minors or children under the age of 18.

By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and meet these requirements. If we determine or suspect that a user is under the age of 18, we reserve the right to terminate their account and restrict their access to our services immediately without notice.

If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and you agree that the organization will be responsible for your use of the services and any violations of these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you. JHBridge is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

JHBridge provides translation, interpretation, document processing, multilingual tools, and related services. Specific service terms for translation and interpretation are set forth in our Translation Services Terms and Interpretation Services Terms, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

We may offer subscription-based platform access, pay-per-service arrangements, and custom enterprise agreements. The scope, pricing, and deliverables for each engagement are set forth in the applicable quote, invoice, subscription plan, or signed agreement.

JHBridge reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service or feature at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

Quotes provided through our website or by our team are estimates based on the information provided by the client. Final pricing may vary if the scope, complexity, or volume of the work differs from the original description.

An order is not binding until confirmed by JHBridge, either through an accepted payment, a signed agreement, or written confirmation. JHBridge reserves the right to refuse any order for any lawful reason, including capacity constraints, unclear requirements, or concerns about the content or purpose of the work.

Translation and interpretation are complex linguistic services that involve judgment, context, and subjective decisions. JHBridge does not guarantee that every translation or interpretation will perfectly match every possible nuance, dialect, or regional variation.

Certified translation means that JHBridge certifies the completeness and accuracy of the translation based on the source material provided. It does not guarantee acceptance by any government agency, court, school, employer, embassy, or other institution. Clients are responsible for verifying the specific requirements of the receiving authority before ordering.

For interpretation services, JHBridge assigns qualified interpreters but cannot guarantee that a specific individual will be available for every request. Interpreter availability depends on scheduling, language pair, specialization, and location.

JHBridge is not a law firm, medical provider, accounting firm, tax advisor, immigration advisor, financial advisor, or court authority. Nothing provided by JHBridge, including translations, interpretations, or document processing, constitutes legal, medical, tax, financial, immigration, or professional advice.

Clients should consult qualified professionals for advice related to their specific legal, medical, financial, immigration, or other professional matters. JHBridge's services are limited to language conversion and related operational support.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when using our services, creating an account, submitting a quote request, booking an interpreter, uploading documents, or applying to become an interpreter.

You are responsible for reviewing all names, dates, addresses, numbers, spellings, and critical information in source documents and translated deliverables before submitting them to any authority. JHBridge is not responsible for errors in source materials or for client mistakes in using deliverables.

You are responsible for ensuring that any documents or information you submit do not violate the rights of third parties, applicable laws, or these Terms.

You may not use our services for any illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: uploading malware, viruses, or other harmful code; submitting fake, forged, or stolen documents; harassing our staff, interpreters, or other users; using bots, scrapers, or other unauthorized automation; attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems; engaging in reverse engineering; spamming; infringing intellectual property rights; and misusing AI or tool features.

JHBridge reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspension, termination, and referral to law enforcement, against anyone who violates these prohibitions.

By uploading or submitting materials to JHBridge, you represent and warrant that you have the right to do so and that the materials do not infringe any third-party rights or violate any laws.

JHBridge may scan, review, or reject files for security, legal, or operational reasons. We may delete suspicious files, refuse to process materials that appear unlawful or abusive, and preserve records as required for legal, security, or payment purposes.

JHBridge does not claim ownership of your source documents. We use submitted materials solely to provide the services you request, subject to our Data Retention and Deletion Policy.

JHBridge retains all intellectual property rights in its websites, platforms, tools, logos, branding, and proprietary technology. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our services for their intended purpose.

Translated deliverables are provided to the client for the client's own use in accordance with the agreed scope. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, JHBridge does not grant the client any intellectual property rights in JHBridge's underlying methodologies, tools, or technology.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our services or content without our express written permission.

Payment for services is due in accordance with the terms set forth in the applicable invoice, quote, or subscription agreement. We accept payment through Stripe, PayPal (where enabled), and other methods we may specify.

For subscription plans, recurring charges are billed automatically to the payment method on file. Failed payments may result in suspension of subscription benefits. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental charges.

Refund and cancellation terms are governed by our Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. In general, refund eligibility depends on the type of service, timing of cancellation, and whether work has commenced.

Custom translation and interpretation services may be non-refundable once work has begun. Subscription fees may be refundable on a pro-rata basis within a reasonable review period, subject to our refund policy. JHBridge reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

JHBridge uses third-party service providers, including but not limited to AWS for cloud infrastructure, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, and Google for authentication. These third parties operate under their own terms and policies.

JHBridge is not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of third-party services. Interruptions, errors, or security issues originating with third-party providers are beyond our control, and we are not liable for resulting damages.

Some JHBridge tools and workflows may use artificial intelligence or machine learning to assist with drafting, formatting, productivity, or internal workflows. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for official use.

JHBridge does not guarantee that AI-assisted output is correct, complete, or appropriate for any specific purpose. Human review may be used where appropriate but is not guaranteed for every automated tool unless a specific service tier explicitly states otherwise.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-assisted output before use. JHBridge does not use customer content to train public AI models unless specifically disclosed, but third-party AI providers may process data under their own terms.

JHBridge strives to maintain reliable service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

JHBridge does not provide emergency services. For urgent medical, legal, or safety matters, you should contact appropriate emergency services or qualified professionals directly.

JHBridge may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, illegal activity, abuse, non-payment, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect our business, users, or systems.

Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

JHBridge provides its services on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

JHBridge does not warrant that our services will meet your specific requirements, be error-free, secure, or available at all times. We do not warrant that the results obtained from the use of our services will be accurate, reliable, or accepted by any third party.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JHBridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use our services.

JHBridge's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to JHBridge for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if JHBridge has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JHBridge, its founders, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or your submission of inaccurate, unlawful, or infringing materials.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within a reasonable period, either party may pursue available legal remedies.

The parties agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and each party irrevocably submits to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and JHBridge agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

JHBridge may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website with an updated Effective Date. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means, such as email or a prominent notice on our website.

Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using our services.
