Subprocessor & Vendor List
Third-party service providers and vendors that JHBRIDGE Translation Services uses to deliver its services, along with the categories of data they may process.
Effective Date: June 2026
Overview
JHBRIDGE Translation Services ("JHBridge," "we," "us," or "our") uses a limited number of third-party service providers, also known as subprocessors, to help deliver its translation, interpretation, and related services. These subprocessors provide essential infrastructure, tools, and capabilities that support our operations and enable us to serve our clients effectively and securely.
This page lists the categories of subprocessors JHBridge currently uses or may use in the course of providing services. We have identified the primary purpose of each subprocessor and the general nature of data processing involved. This list may not be exhaustive of every tool or service used in our operations, but it covers the material subprocessors involved in processing client data or personal information.
JHBridge imposes data protection, confidentiality, and security obligations on its subprocessors through contractual agreements, terms of service, and other appropriate mechanisms. We select subprocessors with consideration for their security practices, privacy commitments, and compliance posture. However, each subprocessor operates independently and under its own privacy policy and terms of service, and JHBridge cannot guarantee the practices of third-party providers.
Cloud Infrastructure and Hosting
Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides the core cloud infrastructure for JHBridge's platform and services. AWS is used for cloud hosting, compute resources, file storage via Amazon S3, encryption key management via AWS Key Management Service (KMS), notification services via Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), and related infrastructure services. AWS data centers maintain extensive physical security, network protections, and compliance certifications.
Client documents, translated deliverables, account data, and other information processed through JHBridge's platform are stored and processed within AWS infrastructure located in the United States. AWS provides encryption capabilities for data at rest and in transit, which JHBridge leverages as part of its security practices. For more information about AWS's security and compliance programs, please refer to the AWS Security documentation.
JHBridge configures its AWS resources in accordance with security best practices, including access controls, network segmentation, and encryption settings. While JHBridge benefits from AWS's infrastructure-level security, JHBridge's own security practices are independent of AWS's certifications. JHBridge does not claim any AWS certifications as its own.
Payment Processing
Stripe is JHBridge's primary payment processor. Stripe handles payment processing, checkout flows, invoicing, billing management, subscription management, and related financial transactions. When you make a payment through JHBridge, your payment card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and processed under Stripe's own PCI DSS compliance. JHBridge does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card numbers.
Stripe may collect and process certain personal information in connection with payment transactions, including your name, billing address, email address, payment method details, and transaction history. Stripe's use of this information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. JHBridge receives limited transaction information from Stripe necessary for order fulfillment, invoicing, and account management.
PayPal may be used as an alternative payment method where available. (Note: JHBridge is evaluating whether PayPal is actively integrated into its payment workflows. This entry will be updated to reflect the current status once confirmed.) If PayPal is used, PayPal processes payments under its own terms, privacy policy, and PCI DSS compliance. JHBridge receives limited transaction information from PayPal necessary for order fulfillment and reconciliation.
Email Services
Resend is used by JHBridge for transactional email delivery. Resend handles the sending of service-related emails, including account registration confirmations, password reset emails, service notifications, invoice and payment notifications, project status updates, document delivery notifications, and other operational communications that are essential to the delivery of our services.
Transactional emails sent through Resend may contain personal information such as the recipient's name, email address, and references to specific projects, invoices, or account activities. Resend processes this information solely for the purpose of delivering emails on behalf of JHBridge. Resend's use of data is governed by its own privacy policy and data processing terms.
JHBridge does not use Resend for unsolicited marketing emails or spam. Transactional emails are sent only as necessary to support the services you have requested or to communicate important information about your account, projects, or our services. If you have questions about the emails you receive from JHBridge, please contact us at contact@jhbridgetranslation.com.
Analytics and Monitoring
JHBridge may use analytics tools to understand website usage patterns, monitor service performance, identify errors or issues, and improve the overall user experience. Analytics tools may collect information such as page views, browser type, device information, referral sources, session duration, and general geographic location derived from IP addresses.
The specific analytics provider(s) used by JHBridge may change from time to time as we evaluate and select tools that best meet our needs. (Note: JHBridge is in the process of confirming which analytics provider is actively in use, such as Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, or an alternative solution. This section will be updated once the provider is confirmed.)
Where analytics tools are used, JHBridge configures them to collect the minimum information necessary for the stated purposes and to respect user privacy to the extent supported by the tool. Users may be able to opt out of certain analytics tracking through browser settings, cookie preferences, or other mechanisms as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Caching and Performance
Redis is used by JHBridge for application caching, session management, rate limiting, and performance optimization. Redis enables our platform to respond quickly to user requests, manage active sessions securely, and protect against abuse by enforcing rate limits on certain actions. Redis may temporarily store session tokens, cached data, and other transient information necessary for application performance.
Redis may be self-hosted on JHBridge's cloud infrastructure or provided through a managed Redis service. In either case, access to Redis instances is restricted to authorized application components, and data stored in Redis is protected by the same network security and access controls that apply to JHBridge's broader infrastructure.
Data stored in Redis is generally transient and short-lived, with automatic expiration policies applied to cached data and session information. Redis is not used as a primary data store for client documents or permanent records. For information about how JHBridge stores and retains persistent data, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
Domain and DNS
JHBridge uses DNS (Domain Name System) and domain registration services to ensure the availability and accessibility of its website and platform. DNS services translate domain names into IP addresses, enabling users to access JHBridge's website and services through their web browsers. Domain registration services maintain JHBridge's ownership and control over its domain names.
DNS providers may process limited technical information in the course of resolving domain queries, such as the requesting IP address and the domain being queried. This information is typically processed automatically and transiently as part of standard internet infrastructure operations. (Note: JHBridge is in the process of confirming its specific DNS provider. This section will be updated once the provider is confirmed.)
JHBridge selects DNS and domain services with consideration for reliability, performance, and security features such as DNSSEC support and DDoS protection. The availability and performance of our website depends in part on the reliability of our DNS infrastructure, and we monitor DNS performance as part of our overall service availability practices.
Independent Contractors
JHBridge engages professional translators, interpreters, and linguists as independent contractors to provide translation and interpretation services to our clients. These contractors are carefully selected based on their language proficiency, professional qualifications, subject matter expertise, and experience. Contractors may receive access to client source materials, project instructions, and related information necessary to perform their assigned work.
All independent contractors engaged by JHBridge are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations as a condition of their engagement. These obligations require contractors to treat all client materials as confidential, to use client information solely for the purpose of providing the requested services, to implement reasonable security measures to protect client data in their possession, and to return or securely destroy client materials upon completion of their assignment.
Contractors are granted access to client materials on a project-by-project basis, following the principle of least privilege. Access is limited to the specific documents, instructions, and information necessary for the contractor's assigned tasks, and access is revoked upon completion of the project or termination of the contractor's engagement. For more information about JHBridge's contractor confidentiality practices, please refer to our Confidentiality Policy.
Changes to Subprocessors
JHBridge may add, change, or remove subprocessors from time to time as our business evolves, as new tools and services become available, and as we evaluate and optimize our technology stack. When we make material changes to our subprocessor list, we will update this page to reflect the current state of our subprocessor relationships.
Clients who have entered into Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with JHBridge may receive advance notice of subprocessor changes as specified in their DPA. The specific notice period and mechanism for objecting to subprocessor changes will be as set forth in the applicable DPA. Clients without a DPA are encouraged to review this page periodically for updates.
If you have concerns about a specific subprocessor or would like to discuss alternative arrangements for the processing of your data, please contact us at contact@jhbridgetranslation.com. We will work with you in good faith to address your concerns, though we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all requests related to subprocessor usage.
