This policy explains how JHBRIDGE Translation Services uses artificial intelligence tools in its operations, the limitations of AI-generated output, and the responsibilities of users who interact with AI-assisted features.

How JHBridge Uses AI
JHBRIDGE Translation Services may use artificial intelligence tools and technologies to assist with various aspects of its operations. These uses may include, but are not limited to, internal workflow automation, customer support assistance, document processing and formatting, initial translation drafting, productivity and scheduling tools, content generation for internal and external communications, and quality assurance checks on completed work products.
AI is used as a tool to augment human work, not to replace professional judgment where critical decisions are required. Our translators, interpreters, and staff remain responsible for the quality and accuracy of the services we deliver. AI may assist in accelerating certain tasks, identifying potential issues, or providing preliminary outputs that are then refined by qualified personnel.
The specific AI tools and technologies used by JHBRIDGE may change over time as the technology landscape evolves. JHBRIDGE may integrate AI capabilities from third-party providers, open-source tools, or proprietary systems. The use of any particular AI tool does not constitute an endorsement of that tool's accuracy or suitability for any specific purpose beyond how JHBRIDGE chooses to deploy it within its own workflows.
AI Output Limitations
Artificial intelligence systems, regardless of their sophistication, have inherent limitations. AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for specific purposes. AI models may produce errors, hallucinations (plausible-sounding but factually incorrect information), or contextually inappropriate results. These limitations exist even in state-of-the-art AI systems and are an inherent characteristic of current AI technology.
Users must not rely solely on AI output for any legal, medical, financial, immigration, or official purpose. JHBRIDGE does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any AI-generated content. While JHBRIDGE strives to use AI responsibly and effectively, the nature of AI technology means that unexpected errors or inconsistencies may occur. Users should exercise their own judgment when evaluating any output that has been produced with AI assistance.
Human Review
Human review may be used where appropriate for service deliverables, particularly for translation projects and interpretation support materials where accuracy and nuance are important. JHBRIDGE recognizes the value of human oversight in maintaining quality standards and may incorporate human review as part of its quality assurance processes for client-facing deliverables.
However, human review is not guaranteed for every automated tool, internal process, or AI-assisted feature unless a specific service tier or written agreement explicitly includes it. Certain features -- such as automated quoting, preliminary formatting, or internal workflow suggestions -- may operate with minimal or no human review. Clients who require guaranteed human review of all AI-assisted outputs should discuss this requirement with JHBRIDGE before engaging services and should ensure that the applicable service agreement reflects this expectation.
The extent and depth of human review may vary depending on the nature of the service, the complexity of the content, the client's service tier, and the specific workflows involved. JHBRIDGE makes reasonable efforts to apply human review where it matters most, but does not promise that every piece of AI-assisted output will be individually reviewed by a human before it is used or delivered.
No Professional Advice from AI
AI tools used by JHBRIDGE do not provide legal, medical, financial, immigration, tax, or any other form of professional advice. Even when AI is used to assist with translating or processing documents that contain professional or specialized content, the AI output itself should not be treated as authoritative guidance on the subject matter of those documents.
For example, if JHBRIDGE uses AI to assist with translating a medical document, the AI-assisted translation is a linguistic service only and does not constitute medical advice or a clinical interpretation of the document's contents. Similarly, AI-assisted translation of legal documents does not constitute legal advice or a legal interpretation of the document's terms and implications.
Users who need professional advice regarding the subject matter of documents translated or processed by JHBRIDGE should consult with appropriately licensed and qualified professionals in the relevant field. JHBRIDGE, its staff, and its AI tools are not substitutes for licensed attorneys, physicians, financial advisors, immigration consultants, or other qualified professionals.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-assisted output before using it for official, professional, or consequential purposes. This responsibility applies whether the AI-assisted output is a translation draft, a summary, a formatted document, or any other type of content that has been generated or modified with the assistance of AI tools.
Users are responsible for the accuracy and suitability of materials they submit, publish, file, or otherwise use based on AI-assisted work provided by JHBRIDGE. JHBRIDGE provides AI-assisted output as a tool and a starting point, but the ultimate responsibility for how that output is used rests with the user. This includes verifying factual accuracy, confirming that translations convey the intended meaning, and ensuring that the output meets any applicable legal, regulatory, or professional standards.
By using JHBRIDGE services that involve AI-assisted features, users acknowledge that they understand the limitations of AI technology as described in this policy and accept responsibility for verifying and validating AI-assisted output before relying on it for any purpose.
Sensitive Data and AI
Users should exercise caution when submitting sensitive personal, medical, legal, or financial information through AI-assisted features. While JHBRIDGE takes reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of information processed through its systems, the involvement of AI tools -- particularly third-party AI services -- introduces additional considerations regarding data handling and privacy.
JHBRIDGE does not intentionally use customer content to train public AI models unless separately disclosed in a specific notice or agreement. However, third-party AI providers engaged by JHBRIDGE may process data under their own terms of service, privacy policies, and data handling practices. JHBRIDGE selects third-party AI providers with care but cannot guarantee that their data handling practices will meet every client's specific requirements or expectations.
Clients with heightened data sensitivity requirements -- such as those in regulated industries or those handling classified, legally privileged, or highly confidential information -- should discuss their specific data handling needs with JHBRIDGE before submitting sensitive materials. Where appropriate, JHBRIDGE may be able to accommodate specific data handling requests through customized service arrangements, though such accommodations may affect pricing and turnaround times.
Changes to AI Use
JHBRIDGE may modify, expand, reduce, or discontinue AI features and capabilities at any time and at its sole discretion. The AI technology landscape is evolving rapidly, and JHBRIDGE reserves the right to adapt its use of AI tools as new technologies become available, existing tools change, or business needs evolve.
Changes to AI capabilities, including the introduction of new AI features or the discontinuation of existing ones, do not require individual notice to clients unless otherwise required by applicable law or a specific written agreement between JHBRIDGE and the client. JHBRIDGE may update this AI Use Policy from time to time to reflect material changes in how AI is used within its operations.
Continued use of JHBRIDGE services after changes to AI features or updates to this policy constitutes acceptance of those changes. Clients who have concerns about specific AI-related changes are encouraged to contact JHBRIDGE to discuss their needs and explore available options.
